(auf Deutsch) I have a few pieces of music here, that I can't identify. I don't know, who performed it. You'll find downloads here. this is what I know about the pieces already:

• The performing band consists of a typical 70s band (drums, bass, keyboards and guitar) and orchestral instruments (piano, brass, strings, flute, clarinet and saxophone
• The tracks are all reworks of classical pieces:
  • Tschaikowsky's Piano concerto Nr.1 in b-flat
  • Felix Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto Nr.1 (Opus 25 in G-minor)
  • Franz Liszt's Piano Concerto Nr.1 in e-flat
  • Mozart's Piano Concerto KV 426
  • Edward Grieg's Piano Concerto in a-minor
  • an adaptation of a Paganini etude
• The genre is something between progrock, funk and 70s dance music.

I inherited a public relation's tape for the Nashua company, which contained this music. Inspite of asking Nashua, the GEMA/GVL, Grieg's old publishing company, two radio stations and research on the web, I didn'tfind anything helpful.
Please, if you have an idea or recognise the pieces let me know.

ICH BRAUCHE IHRE HILFE / DAS NASHUA-MUSIK-FORSCHUNGSPROJEKT

Ich habe hier ein paar Stücke Musik, die ich nicht identifizieren kann. Ich weiß nicht von welcher Band die Stücke sind. Es gibt hier ein paar Downloads. Hier ist alles, was ich über die Musik bereits weiß:

• Die Band setzt sich zusammen aus einer typischen 70er-Band (Bass, Schlagzeug, Keyboards und Gitarre) und orchestralem Instrumentarium (Klavier, Blechbläser, Streicher, Flöte, Klarinette und Saxophon)
• Die Tracks sind alle Überarbeitungen von klassischen Stücken:
  • Tschaikowskys Klavierkonzert Nr.1 in B
  • Felix Mendelssohns Pianokonzert Nr.1
  • Franz Liszts Klavierkonzert Nr.1 in ES
  • Mozarts Klavierkonzert KV 426
  • Edward Griegs Pianokonzert in A-mol
  • Eine Adaption einer Etude von Paganinni.
• Der Stil siedelt irgendwo zwischen Progressiverock, Funk und 70er-Jahre Tanz musik

Die Musik habe ich von meinem Großvater auf einer Werbekassette der Firma Nashua geerbt. Trotz jahrelanger Recherche bei Nashua selbst, der GEMA/GVL, Griegs altem Verlag, dem deutschen Musikarchiv, bei zwei Radiosendern und im Internet, habe ich keine weiteren Informationen gefunden.
Falls Sie diese Stücke kennen oder eine Idee haben, bitte lassen Sie es mich wissen.
